"Let The Water Hold Me Down"

It turns out, that Lucas isn't 'A's little helper after all (unless he's made all this up, to get back into Hanna's good graces) and neither is Maya (who's always a little suspicious to me). Now, who do we accuse? Well, Jenna is as suspicious as ever, even more so after Spencer Hasting - super sleuth, does a bit of digging and finds out that  Jenna apparently 'had some things to take care of' in Rosewood: which could mean anything.
Caleb is bent on looking for Lucas and Hanna is finding it very frustrating not being able to tell him what's going on. You've got to give Caleb some credit, sticking around even with all the secrets. Meanwhile, Emily is worried that Maya is keeping something from her. Don't worry though, Maya is only afraid to tell Emily that she 'hooked-up' with someone else while she was away. Emily's not bothered, until she learns that said someone is a 'he'. Considering all of the other things she has going on, Emily should pick her battles carefully.
Last episode, Aria lied to her mother about dating Holden, and this episode he asks her out. Though their date doesn't go as he planned when she's all eyes for Ezra and doesn't even bother to hide it. He's not upset though, because 'everyone has secrets' and undeterred, he asks her out again. This show has a penchant for making everyone look suspicious, and even with all the revelations, I'm still not convince that Maya and Lucas are innocent.
Speaking of Lucas, it turn out that his crime was not 'secretly loving Hanna' as I had mused, but that he was a gambler. Not so shocking, except that he lost all of Caleb's money and was afraid to lose the esteem of both him and Hanna. Hanna's only response; 'You're not who I though you were' would soothe his crushed spirit if he only knew what she really though he was up too.
Mona was heavily featured in this episode as well, after having been dumped by Noel, ignored by Hanna and finally pacified by Spencer; in a very unlikely scenario. Mona has always been Hanna's sidekick, albeit a crazy, self-serving social climber, who's liable to stab you in the back when your not looking, but a sidekick nonetheless. But she's always been my first choice for 'A' probably because of the books, but she's always lurking in the shadows, never fully engaged, which makes her all the more suspicious. On the other hand, her ex Noel Khan is equally as suspicious, though very nice to look at, and there's always been a sinister haze around him
At the end of this episode, the girls gather for some Chinese food, and more plotting; Only to open one of the carton's and be greeted earthworms and dirt, where their noodles should be. A gross reminder, that 'A' knows all.
